The Kelly-Strayhorn Theater is the last performing arts venue left standing of the original nine that once made East Liberty the entertainment hub of Pittsburgh. As the East End’s reborn “epicenter of the arts,” the Kelly-Strayhorn defines a new era of culture, nightlife and economic resurgence for what was once a glorious intersection on the map of our city.
Add your name, or the name of someone you wish to honor, to this prestigious footnote to the history of our region by participating in our commemorative brick program. A lovely installation of bricks is featured in front of the Kelly Strayhorn. The names and entities honored there are noted by those who attend our events and all who pass by.
Honor a loved one, colleague, or organization with bricks that may be installed to commemorate:
We assist with copy and scheduling the brick placement, often in conjunction with special dates at the Kelly-Strayhorn so that you can celebrate the installation by inviting others to join you at an event. Or you may chose to note the installation at any time.
By making a donation to the Kelly-Strayhorn theater, your name can join the many others line the path into the Kelly-Strayhorn’s beautiful entryway and lobby. You can ensure that our lights will burn brightly, well into the future.
Please contact Yvonne Hudson, marketing and development director, at yvonne@kelly-strayhorn. org or call 412 363-3000 ext. 103 to request an order form and discuss your brick order today.
