From the Fort Pitt Tunnels: Cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and take Liberty Ave. to Baum Blvd. then make a left on Baum Blvd., and proceed to Highland Ave. Turn left on Highland Ave. and left again on Penn Ave. The Kelly-Strayhorn is at 5941 Penn Ave., across the street from the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
From the Liberty Tunnels: Cross the Liberty Bridge from the South Hills, coming into Pittsburgh. Continue to Bigelow Boulevard. Follow Bigelow Blvd. towards Oakland. Bear left on Craig Street. Take a left on Baum Blvd. and proceed to Highland Ave. Make a left on Highland Ave. and then a left on Penn Ave. The Kelly-Strayhorn is at 5941 Penn Ave., across the street from the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
From the Parkway East: Take the Edgewood/Swissvale exit and turn right on Braddock Ave. Continue towards the 3rd traffic light and turn left on Penn Ave. The Kelly-Strayhorn is at 5941 Penn Ave., across the street from the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
From Route 28: Cross the 40th Street Bridge, and turn left onto Penn Ave. The Kelly-Strayhorn is at 5941 Penn Ave., across the street from the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
Parking
Parking available behind the Carnegie Library East Liberty Branch, enter off Beatty Street and also at the East Busway (Highland and Center Avenues). There is also metered street parking on Penn, Highland and throughout Penn Circle.
